At iLiveWell, we enjoy the delicious taste of SunButter, whether we use it for cooking or snacking.
This month we are excited to share with you our snack of the month, SunButter.
SunButter is a nut free, wheat free, dairy free, amazing alternative to nut butters. SunButter is packed full of flavor and more vitamins and nutrients than most other nut butters.
Made from the finest sunflower seeds that are grown and harvested in the Midwest, they are even grown far away from peanuts eliminating the risk of cross contamination. They take their promises to you very seriously, including a product that is made with healthy fats, the good kind, that helps curb cravings and helps to reduce cholesterol and there are no trans fats. SunButter is both vegetarian and vegan and is kosher too!
Sunflowers are super eco-friendly using way less water to grow and the shells are recycled and used for bedding for turkeys! How cool is that! Sunflower seeds are also heliotropic, which means they swivel to face the sun, soaking up sun-power making this a great source of healthy energy.
SunButter is a super alternative to other nut butters, containing less fat, more vitamin E and is high in iron, phosphorus and zinc! And we leave the best for last…they taste so good!
You can find so many delicious recipes on their website. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Go have a look and see how SunButter is great whether you eat it right out of the jar or use it for cooking. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
