It is finally feeling like fall in Austin, Texas, and I don’t know about you, but this might be our team’s favorite time of year.
It’s not just because of the change in the temperature that some people care for the fall season, it’s also because of all the holidays.
The dietitians and therapists at iLiveWell understand that you might not have the same love for this season as they do, and we are here to help and support y’all during this season.
Last month we shared some ideas about slowing down and self-care, so please check it out if you missed it.
We want to share some of our favorite ways to experience the fall season and shift that mindset from dread to enjoyment:
Bridget Levien – It’s soup weather! I am making potato and leek soup to stay warm!
Jessica Herrea – Tomato Biqsure time!
Renee Hope – I like getting into the fall season by all inspired baking with apples and pumpkin!
Libby Hill – Those Thanksgiving rolls and campfires get me into the fall season for sure!
Along with all the changes in the weather, this is a great time of year to focus on change in general. Change can be a hard thing to face and seeing the change in the seasons, leaves, and weather can also be inspiring to help us to accept that change in our own lives is natural. Without change, we would be stuck, stagnant, bored, regressing, and uninspired. Change is an important part of life.
If you’re reading this thinking, “No way – change is too much for me right now,” give us a shout! We’re here to help you through our 1 on 1 guidance.
