Want to learn what it’s like to work in a group practice with other non-diet dietitians & evidence-based science?
We are looking for students, preferably pre-DI program, to join our team. You will be asked to help with research, assist in reviewing programs and editing content, creating blog posts and handouts, social media (graphics and/or writing posts), online marketing, book marketing, and more.
What skills can you bring to the table?
We would love to help more interns and professionals get comfortable and confident at treating eating disorders.
Unfortunately, we cannot have others in our counseling sessions due to client confidentiality unless you are in an accredited dietetic internship. We do offer weekly case work that you are able to be a part of to learn more about how to treat and work with eating disorders.
How to apply:
- Fill out this form.
- Email info@iLiveWellNutrition.com with the Subject: ILW INTERN Application and send a few writing samples (science blog post style preferred). We will be in touch with you within 5 of days.
Note: Interns do not need to be local.
Hi y’all! I’m Libby Hill, a summer intern at I Live Well Nutrition and a member of the UT Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD) Class of 2020. As a certified personal trainer and #RD2be, my aspiration is to combine nutrition counseling and healing movement to the treatment of eating disorders.
I met Adrien Paczosa, founder of I Live Well, a few years ago through a podcast venture that combined her dietetics expertise with my fitness expertise to discuss mental and physical performance in the lens of nutrition. When COVID-19 forced my dietetic internship toward a virtual curriculum, she was gracious enough to offer some additional exposure to the realm of outpatient eating disorder counseling.
I’m a non-traditional student and I graduated with a degree in human biology in 2014 and went to work in clinical trial research, which quickly taught me my passion is in prevention and counseling toward therapeutic lifestyle changes. I am happiest when I’m empowering and encouraging others, be it through training, counseling, or tutoring, so I know becoming a Registered Dietitian is a perfect fit for me!
In my spare time, I wear many hats, and sometimes even a crown! As Miss Earth USA 2019, I use my pageant title to organize coastal restoration projects and promote sustainable food systems, as well as sustainability in the kitchen. I love to develop and cook what I call “planet-based” meals, which use ethically sourced, sustainable ingredients to promote the health of the environment and (coincidentally) the body!
When the crown comes off and the workday ends, you’ll likely catch me hiking, wakesurfing, social dancing, volunteering, modeling for size-inclusive brands, or loving on my rescue cat, Tubbs.
My name is Hannah Auldridge and I’m currently interning with iLiveWell for the summer! I’ll be a senior at UT this fall and will be a member of the Coordinated Program in Dietetics’ class of 2021. As my dietetic internship begins, I’m hoping to gain more experience in nutrition counselling and learn more about all the amazing areas of dietetics.
I first became interested in nutrition as a dancer with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School. As a dancer, I had the opportunity to meet with dieticians one-on-one and learn all about sports nutrition. After I decided to attend UT, I knew the only career I wanted to pursue was one in dietetics! Thankfully during this crazy summer I was able to (virtually) meet Adrien and she was nice enough to offer me this internship so I could gain more experience.
When I’m not busy with school, I love taking dance and yoga classes, paddle boarding, and hiking around Austin!
