Get to Know Cami:
Are there good and bad foods?
- No, food doesn’t have any moral weight -- diet culture and mainstream media makes us think that certain foods are “bad” for us and others are “good.” But the reality is that it’s just food -- if you eat too much of any one thing it won’t be great for your overall health.
Tell us a little about yourself… Where were you born? Do you have pets? Favorite vacation? Favorite food?
- I am a born and raised Austinite. I love this city! I have a dog, Shay. She is an Australian Cattle dog and is completely insane but we love her. My favorite vacation spot is pretty much anywhere in Europe. I was lucky enough to live in Switzerland for a year, which made me fall in love with traveling. My favorite food is a tie between tacos and pasta.
