Katie Hardison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist practicing in Austin, TX. Due to her parents’ jobs growing up, her family moved to many different cities and states, but Austin was always home.
Her first degree was a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, however after working for a few years for a healthcare company in Seattle, WA, she discovered her true passion for nutrition.
While completing her second degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, and her supervised practice through the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at UT – Austin, Katie discovered her second passion to help LGBTQ people receive competent nutritional care. As a member of the LGBTQ community herself, she recognizes the needs of the population in accessing adequate healthcare. Her nutrition philosophy is that all food can be healthy. Katie’s pronouns are She/Her/Hers. She lives in Austin with her sister, her dog nephew, and her cat nephew. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, bingeing TV shows, and going hiking with friends.
